Where do you find Heart Scales in X & Y?

In Ambrette town, there is a path behind the Pokémon Centre, go to therightof it and you will find one Heart Scale.

In Cyllage City, go south along route 8 until you reach the stairs. Turn on the Dowsing Machine and a Heart Scale should be found around there.

Also, after getting the old rod from the guy in Ambrette Aquarium, go to the beach on route 8 and use it; all you will encounter is Luvdisc' (many of which are holding Heart Scales) - catch them or useCovet/Thiefon them to obtain Heart Scales.Note: Make sure the Pokémon usingCovet/Thiefhas no held item when you are thieving the Heart Scales or else you will not obtain any.

Furthermore, smashing rocks (by usingRock Smash) is an additional method of finding Heart Scales.

You can get some from luvdisks

You can get them by fishing on route 8. The Luvdiscs has a heart scale. They are pretty common.

After you have learned surf and waterfall go to dendemille town and as if you were going to the snow cavern then go by the hiker guy ( he will battle you) the use surf at the top of the waterfall and go down the water fall surf to the pokeball and heartscale

There is one other way that hasn’t yet been mentioned that is useful: you can get Heart Scales via theGlobal Link. Collect enough medals to unlock the Heart Scale item at the PokéMileage Club’s PokéMileage Shop, where you can buy Heart Scales for 100 PokéMiles each. That’s handy if you do a lot of trading, link-trading, or Wonder Trading.
