Which 4 moves hit most Pokemon super-effectively?

I’v been making use of PokemonDB’s type coverage calculator lately, and I’m curious, which combination of 4 moves hit most Pokemon super effectively.

Remember, I’m not asking for moves that hit all Pokemon at least for normal damage, but I’m asking for 4 moves that has the largest super effective coverage, even if any Pokemon resists those 4 moves.

The most I’ve found is Ground/Ice/Fighting/Electric which hit 609 Pokemon super effectively.

Also, which all Pokemon learn the 4 moves that has the highest super effective coverage?

With this combination these four types hit 616 Pokemon super effectively! Thanks to this combination you will be able to hiteveryPokemon either normal effectively or super effectively.

I’ll list moves regardless if they’re not viable as you didn’t ask to consider stats.

There’s a few that I found, there are plenty more . With over 700 Pokemon I won’t search through them all as I don’t have the time to, but this should give you an idea.

Nidoking probably does it bestNidoKing@LifeOrb ability: Sheer Force (m)252speed/252special Attack/4hp-thunderbolt-ice beam^boltbeam combo^-Earthpower-Focus BlastI’m not bothering to figure out the best coverage set but that is ground/ice/elec/fighting so yeah, Nidoking is really good scarfed or life orbed as a special attacker or revenge killer. Boltbeam is infamous for its great coverage, as well hs “edgequake”-stone edge and earthquake. Another example of good coverage is dark and fighting I think. Check mega Absol’s moveset standard- it has notoriously great coverage. However, instead of trying to get the most coverage for your sweeper try covering what is common in the tier- ex: Fire doesn’t get very good coverage but it kills of steel types, common in OU meta game. Nu is known to have lots if grass types, so consider covering them well enoug if you play that tier. Mixed sets that get the coverage you want supereffictvley, if vaguely viable, should probably be choice scarfed so they can revenge kill tons of mons with their great coverage. With the four Attack types you listed though, shedninja is untouchable. Good luck trainer!

With Freeze Dry, Earth Power, Rock Smash, and Rock Throw on Aurorus, you can get supereffective damage on at least 650 Pokemon (since Freeze-Dry is supereffective against water)

Though Smeargle is kind of bad, he is capable of the best super-effective coverage possible.

With the moves Freeze-Dry, Flying Press, Earthquake, and Shadow Ball, Smeargle hits all but 78 Pokemon super-effectively. This is the best I have found so far.

It would be increased slightly if Smeargle could copy Thousand Arrows instead of Earthquake, but that is currently impossible, and anyway, it would only help against three or four Pokemon. (Charizard, Ho-Oh, Moltres, etc.)

I don’t think one Pokemon can hit all Pokemon for super-effective damage. Maybe with a few more moves like freeze dry and flying press, this novelty Smeargle can some day achieve this goal.
