Which flying type Pokemon should I use in Pokemon fire red?

OK,i have playing Pokemon fire red today in my mobile and I have a problem choosing a flying type.So some one please help in choosing a flying type Pokemon.

And please don’t bother to tell me to use charizard because I chose bulbasaur.

Dodrio is Kanto’s best offensive normal flyer. With tri attack and drill peck, they have two great physical STABs, to fully exploit that high speed and attack. Doduo can be picked up right before getting Fly, so it flows nicely as well.

Crobat would be good as well, but in my experience Golbat refuses to evolve before the national Dex is acquired. Golbat goes into an evolution animation and then… stops. Doesn’t break the game or anything but you can’t count on Crobat.

And if you don’t mind legendaries: Zapdos is available relatively early and very powerful.

I might say you don’t need flying type you only use beedrill since it can learn aerial ACE giga drain, solar beam and others

Personally I prefer the pidgy line. It learns sand attack which strategically is a very good defensive move. Also pidgy has keen eye to prevent accuracy loss. For versatility magicarp line. And sheer power dratini line. Remember my personal opinion.

Well, Salamence is a great competitive Pokemon that doesn’t rely heavily on hidden abilities, type match ups or long set ups.

Most flying types have dual typing that makes balanced team building a challenge. If you are looking for something easier to get, Crobat carried me through gen 3. A really speedy Pokemon that isn’t intrusive on the team dynamic.
