Why does the IV calculator say Gardevoir's stats are impossible?

I used MetalKid’s iv calculation and filled out my Gardevoir’s ivs to find out her stats and it said

Her stats indeed are higher than those. Attached is picture of her actual stats in the game. I dont believe I have used any vitamins on her yet.

I can understand her ev might have influent her stats being higher but why does calculator say it is impossible. Any explanations would be appreciated. Thank you

You haven’t put any EVs into the stat calculator. When you don’t put EVs into the calculator, it just assumes all the EVs are 0, and then uses that as its frame of reference for what is possible and impossible.

Clearly, your Gardevoir does have EVs, so the calculator’s assumption is wrong and it gives some results that look concerning. For your peace of mind, here is the legal range for each of Gardevoir’s stats at level 63, with any EVs and IVs:

Note that this is not really a fault of the calculator, because as basic algebra dictates, you cannot find Gardevoir’s IVs if you don’t know its EVs first. So the calculator doesn’t care about covering that scenario.
