Why is Genesect still listed in OU on Showdown?

So I go into showdown, and I say let’s use my ou team that I made cause why not. (Connecting…) “Genesect is and uber, which is banned”. So I go over to the teambuilder going ooh must have done the latest tier changes, cause last time I checked it wasn’t banned. And I go in, and under ou, genesect is still there. Soo…did I catch it at a weird time where they updated the tiers, but not the teambuilder, is showdown glitching, or is it something else?

Nothing is going on with Showdown. Genesect is in ubers like it said.

The teambuilder may not have changed to show it, but you still won’t be able to use it in OU battles anymore since the tier itself has been updated. This is speculation, but there is likely separate people who manage the teambuilder and who manage the tiers, so they don’t get updated at the same time
