Why is one of Eiscue's forms called "Noice Face"?

Is it just the words “no” and “ice” put together? If that’s the case, then why were the words put together in the first place, instead of staying separate? Or is there some other meaning behind the name?

It’s definitely just a play on words. Bulbapedia claims that, in Japanese, the forms translate to “Ice Face” and “Nice Face”, and in other languages, the forms translate to something along the lines of “Ice Head” and “Thawed Head.” The name being Noice Head in English is a play on words that combines “no” and “ice” so that,when pronounced, it sounds like “nice.“There’s nothing more to it than that.

I’ll answer this, but I want to say right off, that they aren’t a definite answer. It is in fact no ice, cause what’s noice lol(unless game freak says nice funny, and eiscue is nice lol)1. The character limit. It may be too long, and so they have to shorten it to make it fit.2. As someone who has done a bit of coding, I know that seperating a word and putting a space will make it an error, and so there must be a dash or underscore. I would think this goes hand in hand with the anove, where if they added a dash/underscore, it would break the character limit.Again, take this as more of a guess, but it’s the only thing I can think of that would make sense. (Unless game freak DOES say noice)
