Would Life Orb or Choice Specs benefit my Porygon-Z more?

I’m talking strictly from a damage perspective before defenses with the move in question being Tri Attack.

I appreciate the help, I’m not too savvy on the calculations. If there’s anything else you’d need for the math let me know.

Just depends on what you want. If you want to be able to switch up moves, then go for Life Orb. If you want to have more immediate power, then go for the Specs. The only problem with the Specs is if you use Porygons best move (in my opinion) Tri-Attack, then a ghost type can switch in and force you to switch out. Other than the force switching out, the specs is a great choice. Specs give you 1.5x damage with moves, while the Life Orb only gives you 1.3x damage.

The Choice Specs would help more-

Tri Attack’s base power is 80

So the Choice Specs would help in dealing more damage. But Choice Items aren’t always the better choice. Checkthisfor more info.
