Would would be the best EV spread for a gen 3 Swampert?

I’ve been soft resetting for shiny mudkip for 8 months now and I figure if I’m going to keep going I may as well make it as painful as possible. So I’ll EV train the little man.

This is the smogon set that is ran, 248 HP and 44 SpD allows it to live aHidden Power GrassfromModest Zapdos. If you didn’t already know, that’s insane lmao. Earthquake is stronk stab, Ice beam is to meme Pokemon with its amazing coverage, protect is to scout booms and Hidden Power Grasses.

This is another set, however, this set is much more utility based. Surf is good stab, Toxic is reliable damage and to cripple walls, Protect is to scout booms and Hidden Power Grasses and Refresh is for annoying annoying annoying status.

This is much more of an “anti-meta” pick. Basically, the person who wrote this was like, what if,offensive swampert. So, it happened. Hydro Pump is stronk stab, earthquake is stronk stab, ice beam is good coverage and focus punch is nuclear coverage.

Now this is quite possibly the most offensive set. I just realized that these sets are going in a spectrum lmao. Moving on, Substitute is to protecc itself, as well as get into salac berry range, Endeavor is to use the salac berry range against other Pokemon, Hydro Pump is stronk stab and Roar is to phaze out annoying Pokemon.
