Zekrom and Reshiram: Suggest held item?

These are the moves that I am planning for my Zekrom (Adamant) and Reshiram (Hasty) to have.

Zekrom:Stone EdgeOutrageBolt StrikeCrunch

Reshiram:Focus BlastDragon PulseBlue FlareEarth Power

I was thinking of Muscle Band or Choice Band for Z and Wise Glasses or Choice Specs for R.If some other moves should be suggested do not hesitate.

Band can be useful for Zekrom for punching holes in walls (Choice band, not muscle band) and dealing massive damage to the likes of Lugia and Ho-Oh. However, Game Freak gave Z a poor, middling speed for a Pokemon in the Uber tier. This leave ii incapable of facing faster foes such as Kyu-white and rayquaza. The way I wish to fix this is togive Z a choice scarf. What this does is increaseZ’s speed by 50% while locking it onto one move.This makes a damn sight faster than it was before. Although it no longer as the same amount of rip holes in the fabric of the universe" power, it’s speed makes up for it. it can now outspeed many of it’s fellow Dragon types, getting an edge and OHKOing with Outrage. It can also do very large amounts of damage to Kyorge, one of the most common Pokemon in Ubers.

For Resh, you can basically give itscarf and copy everything I said aboveapart for the Kyogre bit, or give itchoice specs. Although it doesn’t have the speed, Blue flare in sun is like a Nuke going of next to 30 regular bombs.It makes opponents far less Likely to want to switch.I would also replace Pulse for Draco Meteor.Resh needs to switch every now and again anyway to avoid Kyu-White and such others, to the SpAtk drop doesn’t matter to much. And it is also VERY powerful, blasting holes itno everything that isn’t a Steel type on the switch.

Timid is a better nature for Reshiram; Hasty is usually for mixed sets, and Reshiram’s moves are all special.

Zekrom - Choice BandReshiram - Choice Specs

Choice Scarf is also viable for either of them, but that forfeits the power boost for a speed boost, so I would choose Scarf > Band/ Specs only if your team does not have a faster Pokemon than Reshiram/ Zekrom.

For Reshiram, I would recommend this Choice Specs set:

I don’t recommend Focus Blast due to its low level of accuracy, and the only thing Reshiram needs coverage for is Heatran, whereby it can be dealt with by Earth Power. Often Heatrans carry Air Balloons, which can be annoying, so if you want, you can go for a this set:

Reshiram @ Life OrbAbility: TurboblazeNature: Timid- Earth Power- Blue Flare- Dragon Pulse- Roost

This frees up your moveset, and Roost replenishes Life Orb recoil.

As for Zekrom:

Stone Edge has a low accuracy doesn’t cover anything; Zekrom is better off facing an Ice type with its STAB moves, and the only thing Zekrom cannot cover with its STAB moves are Ferrothorn and Excadrill, both of which have a Rock resistance.

These movesets are not that bad, and neither are the natures. However, there are a couple of things that could be approved.

Zekrom: Zekrom looks fine. Choice band actually seems like the best course of action. However, as it is zekrom is a little slow. That’s why I would consider choice scarf as another legitimate item choice. Running dragon claw over crunch or stone edge is also a good idea to abuse zekrom’s dragon stab without locking it into outrage, but the moveset is still good as is.

Reshiram: that is a great reshiram set, but the hasty nature isn’t doing much good unless reshiram runs a mixed set. Reshiram had a respectable base 120 atk stat. That’s why I would advise running outrage over earth power, allowing reshiram to muscle through special walls. As for the item, I personally think life orb is a good item, as it will boost both of its attack stats and allow for versitality. However, choice scarf and choice specs are also good choices.
